Matt Carney Artist
1966-2011
Matt believed that art was for everyone. His works were widely available at price points that were accessible for anyone who wanted to purchase a piece. From his $60 steel
wool sheep, to $25 000 bronze commissions, his work is widely owned today across the globe by people that found delight in his ideas and technical skill.
Matt lived with dyslexia and the very struggle that plagued him in his academic pursuits, rewarded him with his innate ability to articulate and communicate beyond words through objects. Visual talismans of deeply held philosophies about the connectedness of us all, and the joy we must seek to live a meaningful life.
